Let us Move Your Freight

FAQ

Yes, shipment weight needs to be accurate because your shipping charge is based on dimensional weight and actual weight. If your shipment is inaccurately weighed, it is subject to being re-weighed by the carrier which could result in an additional charge. Re-weighing may also delay delivery.

The industry-standard liability cargo insurance coverage offered by all LTL carriers booked through us is $0.10 cents per pound. That doesn’t cover the value of most shipments, so we offer our customers the ability to purchase supplementary freight insurance. It is important to inspect your package at the time of delivery and MUST be in the presence of the delivering driver prior to signing the delivery receipt/POD. Damages found MUST be noted on the delivery receipt/POD as " Content(s) Damaged", "Box Torn", "Box has Holes", etc. If any damages found/reported after the driver has left or after a clear delivery receipt/POD has been signed, the insurance is NOT Valid and is automatically VOIDed by the carrier company. Please email for quote.
The regular practice is a truck driver backing up to a loading dock for the shipment to be loaded by the shipper then driving the shipment to the destination loading dock to be unloaded by the consignee. Any additional services, such as residential delivery, call before delivery, inside delivery, and lift gate are outside of the standard procedure, will result in additional fees called accessorials. Please ask for quote before you book the shipment.
We do not offer any service for Hazardous Material shipments.
